Here at the Spy Shop Store, we read an article in PC Magazine that stated, “In a recent survey of 2,000 Americans who have stayed in an Airbnb, 58 percent said they worry about hidden cameras. With reason: 11 percent said they have actually discovered one.”

And while we didn’t find a study to confirm it, we have had customers tell us that they have found cameras in hotel rooms as well. We don’t even want to venture a guess as to why or what the end purpose may be with these video snoops, but the truth is, it is extremely easy and relatively inexpensive to keep yourself safe from this violation and provide peace-of-mind while traveling.
